Dog-friendly holiday cottage in the Brecon Beacons National Park

17 Feb Woof – a big welcome to the holiday cottage’s first dog guest!

Yesterday, the holiday cottage welcomed her first dog guest – a young spaniel called Harri. Hopefully Harri and his owners are having a lovely break, exploring the local area or perhaps settling into a nearby dog-friendly pub for lunch.

Harri may be the first canine guest, but he won’t be the last, there are bookings for a families with a Shih Tsu and a Cockapoo already in the diary as well as two other doggy guests who haven’t identified themselves by their breed.

Dogs (and their responsible owners) are very welcome at Pontganol, they even get some ‘welcome to the cottage’ treats of their own! In terms of facilities for dogs in the cottage, there are food and water bowls, a dog towel and an outside tap for washing down muddy paws. Dogs aren’t allowed upstairs (unless crated) or on the furniture.

So, if you’re looking for a dog-friendly holiday cottage for your stay in the Brecon Beacons National Park then please do get in touch – you’d be barking mad to miss out! *wags imaginary doggy tail*
