03 Aug AA Covid Confident award and area update
The little cottage has now got her AA Covid Confident accreditation through, hurrah! The Covid Confident badge is valid for a year and means that the cottage has completed an assessment and is now accredited for the measures in place to help keep everyone as safe as possible.
Today is also the day that pubs, bars and restaurants in Wales open up for dining inside again. It’s also the start of the Government’s ‘Eat out to help out’ scheme which runs Mondays – Wednesdays for the rest of August, in participating places and gives you up to £10 off your food bill. And for those still not keen on joining the masses eating out, then the brilliant Brecon Beacons destination website has also produced a ‘Buy local Beacons’ list of local places that are delivering wonderful local produce.
In the village, the Coach and Horses pub has opened up a deli in their function room, selling fresh fish, meat, bread, cheeses and other deli deliciousness, and today both pubs reopen their indoor seating.
