15 Nov A warm welcome for the first guests!
The cottage’s first guests were warmly welcomed on their weekend break with a roaring fire in the woodburner, thanks to a delivery of logs earlier yesterday afternoon (just in time) from a local woodland. The woodburner in the living room gives the room a really cosy feel in the winter months and all guests are provided with a basket of logs to use during their stay.
With Crickhowell just down the road, and Brecon and Abergavenny within 10 miles, Harriet and her family had planned some local shopping trips and walks along the canal and in the mountains.
I hope that Harriet and her family are enjoying their break, the local walks (and of course the cottage) while I’m typing this!
